Independent candidate for NH State Rep Rockingham, District 38Greenland, North Hampton, & Rye

      Why me?

Innovative, Attentive, & Motivated to be your Voice in the NH Legislature

I am running because voters deserve to choose who decides the laws that affect their lives and the current progressive representative in this district was running unopposed. Her voting record proves we have very different beliefs about what's best for New Hampshire families. I always say, "don't be stressed about the things you can't control and get involved changing the things you can". I practice what I preach.
I am a Mother, a Grandmother and love my country. I believe in the traditional values that made our country a model for freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness around the world. I want the next generations to enjoy the freedom and opportunity I have had.
I care about you, I care about your family. I have your back.
I hope to earn your vote on Tuesday, November 5th.

      Economy & Taxes

The cost of living has increased 17.9% since January 2021. I'll preserve the NH advantage with no sales or income tax. State and local economies flourish when people retain as much of their hard earned income as possible. Small businesses in NH support 50% of the workforce. Supporting them with low business taxes is vital.

      Liberty

I believe that all people are created equal, endowed by our Creator with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I believe in individual liberty vs. equal outcomes mandated by centralized government control. The freedom to make decisions about parenting, healthcare, and education is a fundamental right and responsibility.

      Family & Community

I will understand and represent the challenges of families, elderly, veterans, those on fixed incomes, and others, taking into account their specific needs. I will support policies that reduce costs for families and fight for academic excellence, educational choice, local control and transparency in education. I firmly support Parental Rights.

I am not a career politician; here's my work/life experience.

      Director of Surgical Services

I am a Registered Nurse with an MBA and over 20 years of experience as a Director responsible for a $10M annual operating and capital equipment budget for multiple surgical departments with 250 employees. I successfully mentored my leadership team through major healthcare changes and reimbursement challenges during critical nursing shortages, maintaining high quality of care for patients.

      Disaster Relief Volunteer Coordinator

I have recruited and coordinated surgical teams for disaster relief and was responsible for oversight of surgical care at a field hospital on the border of Haiti post earthquake.

      Volunteer Work

I've voluntered with charitable organizations providing hands on help in Biloxi after Hurricane Katrina, Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans, and taken multiple teams to provide health care clinics in Malawi with Children of the Nations. I have been active with delivering "Meals on Wheels" and am passionate about helping those who can't help themselves.

      Single Mom

I struggled my first years as a single Mom working two minimum wage jobs and getting nowhere fast. I was fortunate to have an opportunity to go back to school. I received my nursing degree and while working full time finished my BSN, and eventually an MBA. I experienced the struggle that single Moms face, and understand the frustration of not having enough money to pay bills. I was blessed to have the chance I did to change my circumstances and hope that we can support opportunities for those in need now to get ahead.

      On the Issues

Click below to see my position on important issues

      • Economy & Taxes

        ● I would preserve the NH advantage by not supporting a state income tax.
        ● State and local economies flourish when people retain as much of their hard-earned income as possible, to spend and invest as they see fit.
        ● Support for small business is critical for a strong economy; 98% of the businesses in New Hampshire are small businesses which employee 50% of the workforce in the state. Low taxes are the result of low spending and the government has a moral obligation to the taxpayers to be as cost effective as possible.

      • Education

        ● I believe in the rights of parents to control the education of their children.
        ● Children in NH need to be taught that no one race or sex is inherently superior or inferior to another.
        ● We need to assure that our children know the history of our country and promote the value of traditional classical education.
        ● We need to expect accountability and transparency in education. I support local control of education policy and funding to create the best-managed school systems.

      • Law & Order

        ● I support the 2nd amendment with the intent that law-abiding citizens of New Hampshire have a right to protect and defend their lives, their families, and their property without government infringement.
        ● I support our law enforcement and first responders and believe they should have the finances and resources to be adequately equipped and staffed to keep them safe on the job and allow quality services.
        ● Criminals should be fairly and equally prosecuted to deter disregard for the laws that make our New Hampshire communities safe and prosperous.

      • Border Security & Immigration

        ● It is imperative that New Hampshire maintain a strong Northern border with Canada as our borders are an integral part of a strong national defense.● I support for US Customs & Border Protection and their mission to protect the northern New Hampshire border. ● I believe it is essential that New Hampshire Law enforcement work in partnership with Federal Law Enforcement authorities to maintain a strong Northern border and keep New Hampshire safe.● I oppose any sanctuary status in the state and would oppose any action to bring illegal immigrants into the state for any reason.  ● I oppose amnesty for anyone who already has entered New Hampshireillegally which undermines the system and rewards illegal behavior.

      • Government Oversight

        ● I believe in the founding principle that all people are created equal, endowed by our Creator with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, unimpeded by intrusive government regulation and control.
        ● I believe that the freedom to make decisions about upbringing, healthcare, and education in the best interest of their child is a fundamental parental right and responsibility.
        ● I believe in small government to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness by encouraging and promoting local control.

      • Voter Integrity

        ● I believe that each voter has the responsibility to register to vote meeting all requirements ahead of time rather than same day registration unless there are extenuating circumstances.
It is our right as citizens to trust that our officials are legally elected to represent the will of the voting citizens.
        ● I believe in adequate oversight and accountability of those involved in the election process to ensure voting is done by New Hampshire residents only.
        ● I support the requirement to produce positive identification and proof of NH residency and US citizenship upon registering at your city or town clerk and on voting day during same day registration.
        ● A signed affidavit is not adequate proof of domicile or citizenship and prone to fraud as follow-up validation does not consistently happen. By the time the state has deemed an address is not valid, it’s too late and an illegal ballot has already been counted.

      • Health Care & Abortion

        ● Healthcare should provide for the special needs of seniors, including resources to support their ability to age at home, and have access to affordable services.
Respect must be shown to New Hampshire’s veterans by ensuring that they receive the benefits they deserve, particularly by combating homelessness and providing appropriate mental health programs and access to quality medical facilities.
        ● We each have our own personal beliefs and convictions about abortion. I believe that life starts at conception, and a “fetus” is a baby in the womb.
        ● New Hampshire law allows an abortion up to 24 weeks (6 months) providing a woman adequate time to make a choice related to keeping or ending her pregnancy.
        ● The law also allows for termination of the pregnancy if the mother’s health or life is at risk, or if the pre-born baby has a fatal birth defect.

      • Gender Identity

        ● I believe there are two genders- male and female.
        ● The definition of gender has been manipulated to mean something that it is not; causing dangerous gender confusion among the “tik tok” generation who are highly influenced by social media.
        ● Female sports should not include biological males.
        ● Females should be protected from biological males in their locker rooms and bathrooms.
        ● The legal age of adulthood in New Hampshire is 18 years old which must be reached before gender reassignment surgery can be consented to by the patient
